The HSE plans to have removed around 15% of the total number of public beds from the hospital system by the end of this year, it has been confirmed.
It has emerged that the HSE is doing the opposite of what its 2008 bed capacity review recommended, by cutting beds well in excess of the number by which the review said beds should actually be increased. more.....
