Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown Being Downgraded

I live in Dublin 15, Connolly Hospital is our local hospital. It covers a huge catchment area. When the hospital(formally named James Connolly Memorial Hospital) was prevoiusly managed by the Northern Area Healthboard, they saw the potential of the hospital's services, which included a MRI Suite, Minor Injury Unit for children to name but a few, but since the formation of the HSE, the hospital has seen a downgrade in its function, starting with the downgrading of the name of the hospital. The budget that Connolly has to run services is ridiculous. The hospital is currently in merger stategy consultation with Beaumont Hospital, which local people fear will see the hospital lose acute services like 24hr Emergency Department.....................................................
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH PLEASE STOP THE CUTS AT CONNOLLY HOSPITAL !
